How to Use a Vision Board to Manifest Your Goals
How to Use a Vision Board to Manifest Your Goals

What we focus on expands – that’s why creating a vision board has become so popular, especially among entrepreneurs. It forces you to focus on what you truly desire in life and how to bring your goals into physical form. Once you decide what’s important to you, creating a visual representation takes it to a whole new level of manifestation.
Visualization is key.
Visualization is one of the most powerful exercises you can practice to manifest your goals. Take a moment to think back to every success story you’ve ever heard. Oprah, Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, me (I couldn’t resist!), to name a few. Do you want to know one thing they all have in common?
A clear vision of how they want their life to be.
They don’t leave their lives to chance and neither should you. You have big goals and big dreams – why shouldn’t they come true?
Here’s how to use a vision board to manifest them all and to start living your best life.
It all starts with you…
I recommend putting yourself in the center of your vision board. It’s important that you start with balance for yourself. This will steer the rest of your goals and helps to keep you in alignment while creating the rest of your board.
Ask yourself – what would it take to feel completely satisfied with my life? What really matters to me? What gap do I want to fill in my life?
Your vision board is your opportunity to send a message to God/the Universe that this is what you want to bring to your physical world.
The build-out…
Now it’s time to add sections to your vision board. After reflecting on what’s important, you should now have overarching groups. For example, mine were wellness, family, home, and business – maybe yours will have a travel section if that’s important to you.
The key to this part is to focus on the things that inspire and motivate you. Your board should focus on how you want to feel so that you have an emotional reaction every time you see it.
The most crucial part…
Place your vision board somewhere you can see it every single day. This is not a set-it-and-forget-it activity. The purpose of the board is to be a constant visual reminder of what you are working towards. By visualizing your ideal life every day, you’ll start to develop practices around those goals, sometimes subconsciously. Before you know it, you will have manifested that life and more.

My clients hire me when they’re overwhelmed, burned out and exhausted from burning the midnight oil without the results to show for it. They realize that wearing busy as a badge of honor didn’t work for them in the corporate world and still doesn’t work as an entrepreneur. I coach my clients and their teams on how to develop their intuitive leadership to make quicker decisions, take bolder actions and shift into a leadership style of authenticity.
